QR Code
^BQQR Code (ISO/IEC 18004)
A 2D matrix barcode that encodes URLs, text, contact information, and any other data. QR codes are omnidirectional — scannable from any angle — and include error-correction so they remain readable even when partially damaged or dirty.
Up to 7,089 numeric characters or 4,296 alphanumeric characters
Code 128
^BCCode 128 (ISO/IEC 15417)
A high-density linear (1D) barcode encoding the full ASCII character set. Code 128 automatically switches between three internal subsets (A, B, and C) to minimize barcode length. It is the most widely used barcode in shipping, logistics, and supply chain applications worldwide.
Variable length — up to approximately 80 characters practical limit
Code 39
^B3Code 39 (ISO/IEC 16388)
An older but widely supported linear barcode encoding 43 characters: uppercase letters (A–Z), digits (0–9), and special characters (-, ., $, /, +, %, space). Code 39 is self-checking and does not require a check digit, though one can be added. Less dense than Code 128 but has excellent compatibility with legacy scanners.
Variable length — typically 1 to 43 characters
